The serene garden was a great spot for enjoying my morning coffee while listening to the birds. Bring extra toilet paper as it may run low.

Location: the hotel was just off Penguin House and the centre of town and the garden. It also was by nature by close enough to town;)))

the idea to include coffee/tea making machines, a washing machine, and glassware in the twin/double room was nice. really enjoyed a roll-in shower in my private bathroom. the location was amazing and lovely off the main road.
Nothing could have been better.

Perfect, comfortable location off the main road. Having a work desk, coffee/tea makers, and television in our well-equipped and good-sized room. Free parking on site provided.

The hotel was okay, but those dangerously slippery bathroom tiles were a disaster, almost fell several times. The road was an absolute joke-definitely not for anyone unless they want to feel like they're off-roading. A warm welcome gift woudl ve been nice, but I guess special treatment is not on their agenda. Just couldn't give them a decent review.

The wifi was great, but the bathroom tiles were really slippery.

The serene garden was a perfect spot for relaxation.
We found the access road to be poorly maintained. One morning we discovered that the bathroom tiles were dangerously slippery, which posed a real safety concern for us. Finally, the lack of a safe deposit box left us uneasy about our belongings, diminishing our overall comfort.

missingWrote a review on 05 Octcozy gardendifficult access road
We enjoyed the serene location just outside of town. The staff were attentive and provided excellent service, especially with the kids. The cozy garden made for a lovely breakfast spot, great to take in the morning vibes while the children played.
The access road could be challenging for those not used to unpaved paths.

The serene location makes it a great escape. You get a clear view of Mt. Kenya just as you leave. The garden is cozy and perfect for unwinding after a long day.
The rooms are a bit rundown and you might want to tread carefully in the bathroom due to those slippery tiles. The access road isn't really accommodating for anything other than ATVs, which could be an issue for some. It's a little isolated. Taxis are available but not always immediate. A safe deposit box would have been a thoughtful addition to the room, along with a mirror for some added convenience.

We really enjoyed the cozy feel with hot water bottles for extra warmth and the beautiful garden that was perfect for relaxing. There are great amenities like the sun terrace to soak up the rays and the leisure room to unwind with a movie. Just a small note, a mirror in the room would have been a nice touch. 😊
